Role & Responsibilities

• Build the core technology of our platform from scratch. Our primary product is a real-time financial market data system supporting analysis, operations, and investment decision-making.
• Design and establish advanced Big Data infrastructure for financial research and analytics.
• Design and implement multi-stage data processing and machine learning workflows.
• Collaborate closely with the research team to define requirements, plan development, and deliver cutting-edge solutions.
• Take full ownership of the data engineering roadmap, acting as a technical leader and mentor while setting company-wide standards for data infrastructure and best practices.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Proven track record of designing and building complex systems from scratch.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS), including:
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures
  • Familiarity with pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)
• Experience with modern data infrastructure solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks).
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and relational/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with high-capacity ML training and inference pipelines (strong advantage).
• Experience working with high-throughput and real-time systems (strong advantage).
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Build the core technology of our platform from scratch. The primary product will be a system for real-time financial market data analysis, operations, and investment support.
• Design and establish advanced Big Data infrastructure for financial research and analysis.
• Design, develop, and deploy our cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) to ensure the system is secure, scalable, and provides optimal service for our investors.
• Take full ownership of the backend roadmap, working closely with management to define goals, plan development, and deliver advanced technological solutions.
• Act as a technical leader and mentor, setting the engineering standards for the company.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience as a backend developer
• Proven track record of building complex systems from scratch.
• Extensive experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including a deep understanding of cloud-native architectures.
• Knowledge and experience developing software in the FinTech or investment space is a significant advantage.
• A deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and relational/NoSQL databases.
• Experience working with Big Data platforms – a strong advantage.
• Experience working with high-throughput / real-time systems – a strong advantage.
• The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

• Proven practical DevOps experience, including deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and container ecosystems
• Experienced in developing automation scripts, building and managing CI/CD pipelines and orchestration workflows
• Experienced with Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks such as Terraform
